CU-WISE at Finding your Pathway

CU-WISE will be setting up an info booth at 'Finding your Pathway' 2014. Organized the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and Ottawa Catholic School Board 'Finding your Pathway' supports 'Creating Pathways to Success' which is the new career development policy for Ontario schools. Yourparticipation equips students with information that helps them to better understand the pathways available for a successful transition to their initial post-secondary destination.

CU-WISE along side the Department of Engineering will once again be helping girls in grades 7-10 discover engineering at Carleton with fun hands-on activities on Saturday October 18th, 2014. If you want to volunteer to help during this super fun day you can do so by signing up here.

Apply to Present at This year's CU-WISE Women In Research

On December 13th 2013 CU-WISE is proud to be hosting the third annual Women In Research at Carleton University. Women in Research aims to showcase Carleton's top female science and engineering researchers as a means to inspire female high school students from the Ottawa area to pursue science and engineering at University.

We are currently looking for senior undergraduate, graduate and faculty who are interested in showcasing their work via presentation, demonstration or hands-on activity. If you are interested or know someone who is please see our application form below! Deadline to apply is November 24th, 2013.

Go ENG Girl

Go ENG Girl will be taking place on Saturday October 19th - CU-WISE will once again be helping girls in grades 7-10 discover engineering at Carleton with fun hands-on activities. If you want to volunteer to help during this super fun day you can do so by signing up here.

Throwback Kids Activities

On Saturday September 21th from 10 am to 12 pm CU-WISE is teaming up with Virtual Ventures to run fun hands-on science and engineering activities for kids coming to Throwback at Carleton with their parents. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run activities. No experience necessary and we'll be hosting two info/training sessions on Thursday and Friday before the event to bring you up to speed.
